Strengthening Support Systems: We're advocating for earlier and more cohesive support from organisations, systems, and individuals who truly understand the complexities of our families' lives. Difficult Conversations As educators and as parents there are times when difficult conversations need to happen with our young people. A positive approach, using restorative questioning, can provide a guide to handle a discussion with care.  The following questions are a guide to break open a difficult conversation:  What happened? What led up to the incident? What was your involvement in this incident?  Who do you think was affected and how were they affected? How were you affected? How are you feeling now about what happened? What do you think needs to happen to make things right? What could you do to restore these relationships? What support can we put in place to help you if, in the future, something similar occurs?
