Many Novel Drug Approvals in 2023! As approach the end of 2023, we have taken a look at the Novel Drug Approvals in 2023 by the FDA. In total, the FDA approved 56 novel drugs. Most NDA's have been for Oncology indications (31%), followed by Neurology and Auto-Immune Indications (11%), Infectious Diseases and Metabolic Disorders (9%) and Ophthalmology Indications (5%).
