Managers, When deciding to create a full position or offer contractor work, why are full time positions are the go-to? A. It's the norm (Job creation! 🤗) B. To ensure the work is completed with respect to other departmental factors C. To avoid external communication and management of contractors D. A general and on-going department need E. I feel that most software companies don't have a proper organogram. We have titles and designations, but these titles and designations mostly attempt to represent a person's job description. I think it shouldn't be "HR Manager" but simply "Manager," not "Associate Project Manager" but just "Associate." Then, the job description of the person should be defined as per their organization's expectations and their department.
