Trying to clear the air on a window controversy. my understanding is that the glass is sealed to the metal frame of the window. and this weather strip is ( not a seal?) is to help condensation and rain makes it to the weep holes. Seems like it also gives protection to the actual seal of the window to the frame. Any insight would be great. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Seems like a window company wouldn't call a part that thinks a seal. Seems like they would push that as a simple weather stripping.

The Power of Convection Currents: In this video (filmed with a Bullard LDX), the firefighters are initially outside the door way. The fire room is two rooms away. By identifying convection currents from a distance, firefighters can identify the direction of travel of the fire which can thereby lead them to the source. Velocity and height of these currents can also indicate the severity of the fire. Before entering a room, take a scan with your TIC! This can prevent further issues such as “having difficulty locating the fire.” Stay Intelligently Aggressive!
