Coaching High Performers to Manage Stress, Overcome Burnout and create Sustained Success | Certified Life Coach (IMH) | Expert Coach (PCM) | BSc. (LSE) | CIMA UK
Why we feel stuck ⤵️ → We attend trainings at work.. → We listen to Podcasts... → We read books... We even praise some of the work in them and speak about how it completely sifted our mindset and inspired us... But then the next day.. we go back to our old methods.. so did we really learn? True learning requires us to apply the new knowledge and get feedback from that application! So many of us don't take action. It's no wonder we are stuck and overwhelmed. #takeaction #actionmindset #growthmindset #executivecoaching

I believe the powerful, effective and engaging way to learn is peer to peer. I create spaces where it actually happens- communities, cohort-based learning programs and conferences | Chief @ Innov8rs | Founder @ Conveners
For those of you working in #innovationmanagement #corporateinnovation ... What newsletters do you read, what podcasts do you listen to, and what's your source of decent articles, videos and other resources? Generally, imo the Forbes and FastCompany articles are too high level and mostly inspirational, often disregarding what leading and doing innovation in large organizations ***really feels like. I do enjoy podcasts from Aidan McCullen, Paul Heller, Susan Lindner for example, and I am trying to keep up with the writings from Tendayi Viki, Tristan Kromer, Elijah Eilert on their blogs, plus many others here on LinkedIn, such as Ronja Stoffregen, Dr. Lysander Weiss and simone van neerven. As we are re-vamping our newsletter at Innov8rs.co, I'm keen to cast a wider net and curate what's most relevant for our rapidly growing readership. So any tips about what you "consume" would be much appeciated.

Leadership Thought Leader | Writer | Podcaster | Social Catalyst "Inspiring personal initiative for leadership impact."
Lets talk. Not at each other, Or by each other, But with each other. My guest on this episode of The Eddy Network podcast is Robert Poynton, author of the new book, Do: Conversation. We have a conversation. We are sharing our thoughts with one another in an open, respectful, and curious manner. We are doing what everyone seems to know how to do, but don’t in places that are structured to achieve a particular outcome. There is something lost in those interactions. Robert’s book and our conversation is aimed at showing that communication is more than the distribution of information to an audience that is either not prepared to receive it or not interested in our self-important opinions. Conversation is the key skill for learning how to manage a world in dramatic change. https://lnkd.in/eBiiPFvM #conversation #business #communication #change #centerandperiphery #curousity #respect #networking

If you're feeling like you just have a lot of information out there, you're not doing anything with it, if you feel like you don't know where to start, and you're hoping that going to a conference or listening to a podcast or reading a whole bunch of books is going to help you, then you are wrong. You have to start and deal with the issue of what problem you're trying to solve first. If you do that you are 80% of the way there. And to me, that's the key to implementation. How can I implement when I don't even know what problem we're trying to solve? So I'll ask the question again: What is the problem that if you were to solve it in your school, will make all other problems either insignificant or completely irrelevant? Stop hoarding information and start implementing #LikeABuilder: https://lnkd.in/ewacWtRb #SchoolLeadershipReimagined #SchoolPrincipals #Principals #SchoolConference

Friday the 15th we held out first Live Podcast in the heart of Barcelona to test this specific Podcast version. Big thanks to Mads Rademacher, the owner of Ølgod who so generous and spontaneous tuned Ølgod into the venue of “Everything We don’t Talk about” Live Podcast just after very short presentation of a just few days old idea. The concept fold out just around the title “Everything We Don’t Talk about”. From there it was up to guests to come by, step beyond conventional talk and dive into the whispers of the unspoken and participate with whatever topic. The idea was to put whoever guest to the table, let them uncover and reveal hidden taboos important for them, no rules but freedom to speak their minds. What happen was really interesting. Non really dramatic, societal or hidden taboos was revealed. But to our surprise days before the event we had people contacting us for details about specific topics and how exactly they should relate to the order of the other guest speakers. If they participated did their topic fit into the other gests topics, how many guests and who wear the other guests? How is the frame structured? Now our reflection and question are; Do our social and cultural environmental hold us so strong that we forgot, do not know anymore to act spontaneous, innovative, are afraid to step outside the frame and be our self? To be Bold enough to speak what’s honestly on our mind? That was what happened the days up to the Live Podcast event. This is what happened in the event that turned out to be very close to the idea. Big thanks to Kasper Graversen, Executive Film Producer and Thomas Lindegaard Blücher, Key account Manager Conscia to join the Live Podcast “Everything we Don’t Talk About” and give it yet another turnaround making yourself facilitators and making the facilitator guest speaker which made the Live Podcast a very friendly, funny and insightful conversation. So much that we sometimes forgot we wear doing a Podcast. The topics was chosen right before you sat down by the table. They wear decided on the background on you professional live. The challenged film industry in Denmark, Ai, security and behavior and the state of the entrepreneurial world.

I like to drink from fire hoses. Sometimes when you are taking a course, going through a training, or binging a podcast, it can feel like drinking from a fire hose. The amount of information feels overwhelming. That can end up making you feel paralyzed or overextended, but it doesn't have to. I believe in a holistic approach to most things. That requires seeing many things and finding the ways that they are connected. The fire hose helps with this. When I take in a ton of information, there are more opportunities for connections that I may see. That's a good option to have. The trick for me is to not hold onto any of it too tightly. Listen to all of it, and don't stress over memorizing every piece of information. Deep dives will be made later and they will be more meaningful because of the top level connections you see. How does that sound to you? p. s. This is a fun metaphor, but if we want to get literal I'm all about taking a real drink from a garden hose too. 😅
