A Galeazzi fracture is a type of forearm fracture that involves the radius bone. It is a fracture of the distal third of the radius bone, which is the area near the wrist. This type of fracture is often associated with a dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint. Galeazzi fractures are relatively rare and account for about 3-10% of all forearm fractures. They typically occur as a result of a fall onto an outstretched hand or a direct blow to the forearm.

Back-of-the-eye diseases are impossible to detect without advanced imaging, which is inaccessible and expensive for low and middle-income countries. The WHO estimates that 79.4 million people in India and 578 million globally will have diabetes mellitus by 2030. Almost 27% of diabetes patients could be at risk for blindness, if not diagnosed and treated promptly for #DiabeticRtinopathy Seva Foundation in collaboration with Remidio has brought Pristine 5.0 to enhance access to high-resolution wide-field retinal imaging devices designed to aid in the early detection of retinal diseases. Through our Global Sight Initiative network of hospitals, we aim to ensure screening for Diabetic retinopathy and other eye conditions is accessible and affordable.
