In-hospital hyperglycemia is a serious condition that can lead to a number of complications, including increased length of stay, infection, and even death. It is a common problem, affecting up to 40% of hospitalized patients. The good news is that in-hospital hyperglycemia can be effectively prevented and managed with a combination of medication and nutrition therapy. Recently, Becamex Hospital's Department of Nutrition invited Dr. Kim Chi, Head of the Department of Nutrition at Gia Dinh People's Hospital, to give a presentation on the topic of in-hospital glycemic control using medication and nutrition. Dr. Kim Chi's presentation was informative and engaging, and she provided valuable insights into the latest research on this important topic. She also shared practical tips for healthcare providers on how to effectively manage in-hospital hyperglycemia in their patients. We would like to thank Dr. Kim Chi for her excellent presentation.
