Today, we grieve yet another instance of violence and loss of life in school—a place where every young person should feel safe and supported. We stand and mourn with the students of Apalachee High School and their loved ones. We must do better for our young people.

America's safety is at stake if violent right-wing extremists continue to control their party. Read this article to understand why this is crucial for conservative Republicans. It's time to stop the runaway horse before it's too late. #conservative #Republican #violence #safety
Thoughts and prayers? This "Christian" school in Iowa thought and prayed about it, and they came up with -- guns for teachers and other staff! I guess that's the way they do it these days, but it doesn't seem very Gospel-y to me. https://lnkd.in/giT3bDwm

All behavior is communication.
THE MISBEHAVIOR of troubled children is seldom what it first appears to be. Understanding this, I believe, is the only place to start. No child has a need to create a life of conflict. -L. Tobin

Children Learn What They Live.-If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn. If children live with hostility, they learn to fight. If children live with ridicule, they learn to be shy. If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty. If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence. If children live with tolerance, they learn to be patient. If children live with praise, they learn to appreciate it. If children live with acceptance, they learn to love. If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves. If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness. If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and others. If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live. -By Dorothy Law Nolte. PRAY FOR OUR CHILDREN. DIVINE WORDS BY DIANE Diane Hemphill Moseley

Discovering Why You Were Born “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Mark Twain There are two types of people, the enlightened or the unenlightened. There are those who renounce violence as the natural outcome of finding one’s purpose. If you are brought up in a home rooted in love and understanding you will lead a life where violence has no place as it contradicts the reason for your existence. Some children are born into loving, nurturing environments and attend schools that teach fellowship. Some children are born into loving, nurturing families but attend schools that propagandize intolerance. Some are born into harsh, intolerable conditions and attend schools that proselytize intolerance. The greatest danger a generation faces is being born to grow up and be taught that facts and history are fictional and unimportant resulting in a world where the violent attacker is viewed as the hero and the defender is the perpetrator.

What a wise thought, social skills at its best.
"I heard my mother asking the neighbors for salt." But we had salt in the house. I asked her why she was asking the neighbors for salt. And she answered me: —Because our neighbors don't have a lot of money and often they ask us for something. From time to time, I also ask them for something small and inexpensive, so that they feel that we need them too. This way they will feel more comfortable and easier for them to keep asking us for everything they need." Respect for human dignity is undoubtedly one of the noblest feelings. And that's exactly what I learned from my parents... Let's build empathetic, humble, supportive children and other values to be valued..!!!…" - Courtesy: Fatima Anfig

Jan 8, 2024 Rick's Alone Time with God: I am now taking action so that their latest adjusted plans will fail as well. They want to take down my children and my anointed ones. That will not happen no matter how many people and institutions they control. I am enjoying seeing them fail over and over again. #EnemywllFail #GodsProtection #OurRefuge Blog: https://lnkd.in/gE-f4s4u
