How to solve the spatter problem in laser welding? The spatter produced by laser welding seriously affects the surface quality of the weld and can contaminate and damage the lens. If you blow a big hole when stick welding here is an example of using "Texas Tig" to close it up. After busting off the flux on another electrode, Austin uses it as filler to help close this hole. The thing to keep in mind is aiming at the electrode to prevent making the hole even bigger. Watch the full video on YouTube https://lnkd.in/emYKm2Pp

The welds didn't appear to be of equal size, the larger GMAW weld with 11 swings, the laser with the smaller weld 2 swings. Can we see the comparison with measured weld size and equal profiles?
