Sun Silver (ASX: SS1) has reported exceptional results from its inaugural drilling program at the Maverick Springs Silver-Gold Project in Nevada. The drilling has confirmed high-grade silver mineralisation beyond the existing resource, with standout results including: ⚒ MR24-186: 41.15m @ 126.75g/t AgEq, including 13.42m @ 331.76g/t AgEq ⚒ MR24-188: 54.86m @ 83.89g/t AgEq, including 10.67m @ 185.50g/t AgEq The discovery also highlighted the presence of critical antimony mineralisation, with concentrations reaching up to 1,845ppm. Astral Resources NL (ASX:AAR) is encouraged by results from the first four holes of its recently completed 19-hole reverse circulation (RC) program at the Kamperman prospect, part of the 100%-owned Feysville Gold Project, just 14 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. One of the drill holes, FRC267, returned the widest, most consistent high-grade #gold intersection recorded to date at Kamperman – 35 metres at 3.81 g/t gold from 86 metres in hole FRC267 – which reinforces the company’s confidence in the potential scale and grade of this new discovery. Hole FRC267 also returned 14 metres at 0.98 g/t gold from 25 metres while the 35-metre intersection included 1 metre at 11.7g/t from 96 metres, 2 metres at 12.0 g/t from 105 metres and 1 metre at 19.2 g/t from 114 metres. 95.3 m of 0.90 g/t Au within 136.8 m of 0.71 g/t Au and 67.8 m of 0.60 g/t Au from the Newcoast prospect, located 2.5 km southeast of the Taurus deposit! Drilling at the Lucky prospect also encountered the continuation of a gold-bearing quartz vein identified at surface during the 2023 field season at the Lucky area, located at higher elevation 4 km northwest of the Taurus deposit. These results from new regional drilling highlight the additional targets on the property outside of the main deposits, and have identified new gold-bearing vein sets. The Cassiar Gold Property hosts several regional prospects with potential to host Taurus-style mineralization in outlying areas to the Taurus bulk-tonnage Inferred gold resource of 1.4 million ounces grading 1.14 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au). We are pleased to see that results of our initial regional program reinforce our targeting concepts across the property. Our additional early-stage targets and potential for new discovery in the under-explored Cassiar district provides notable upside to our existing resource base!
