Happy Day RNA! 🌟 👉 Today is World RNA Day, dedicated to celebrating the importance of ribonucleic acid in biological processes. In 2018, the molecular biologist Juan Pablo Tosar pointed out a clever pun on the calendar date for RNA Day. He suggested August 1st because of "AUG", a codon in RNA that initiates protein synthesis, creating a clever pun with the calendar date. Since then, it has been endorsed by the RNA Society and has gained recognition worldwide. The celebration of RNA aims to raise awareness about this molecule's diverse roles and potential to advance scientific research and medical treatments. RNA performance is needed by various cellular functions like the synthesis of proteins and has been increasingly recognized for its importance in fields such as genetics and medicine. #RNA #arn #Scientist #Science #research #molecularbiology
