API - American Petroleum Institute’s Post

Top officials in the Biden administration claim to know the importance LNG exports have to global energy security. Then why are they halting new LNG permits at a time of geopolitical volatility? This shortsighted ban is a win for Russia, and a loss for America’s allies, U.S. jobs and worldwide climate progress. It’s time for this administration to stop playing politics with our national security.

The American Petroleum Institute actually isn't my main source of news regarding whether oil drilling is good or bad, strangest thing, I know. Maybe, just maybe... He did it because human beings wanted him to. Biden is 80. He doesn't believe in climate change any more than your company pretends not to. He's hoping young people will vote for him more if they belief they might actually live long enough for his policies to matter. That isn't my opinion. Your stock is just going to go down. He's making political calls. That in itself isn't evil. You only oppose it because of your business interest and your lobbies. I don't have that interest.

Perhaps a small minded President is yielding his power to punish an uncooperative Governor in Texas? Yes, it could be as simple as that.

The Climate Cult never speaks about the 'cost' of their utopian edicts. They won't stop until they cause a worldwide depression. Then, the world will realize that fossils fuels are essential to the quality of life. Idealism checked with realism = pragmatism. Idealism is fine, and can bring innovations that are worthwhile...however, if it is not checked by 'realism', it brings unintended negative consequences.

You guys seem like a real reliable source for how much fossil fuel extraction is the correct amount.

I'm so tired of seeing these oil industry lies and half truths in my feed.

Exporting more gas just ties the US market closer to international prices so it behaves more like the oil market, which means increased prices and greater risk for American consumers. It will however make oil companies more money. In short increased LNG exports represent a direct wealth transfer from American consumers to oil companies bottom line.
