This caused multiple problems including: 1. Shelf life 2. Port fees 3. Labor availability After contacting Ameriton Freight they we were able to provide solutions that started with tracking arrivals at the port level that increased visibility to mitigate delays caused by administrative issues that could hold the container up and delay the release. Because of the visibility we were able to secure the containers on the same day of release eliminating all additional fees and increasing efficiency by delivering the product the next morning.
