📣❔ What happens when fan rotation is blocked? When a unit's rotor is unable to rotate, it enters a locked rotor condition, causing the current draw to increase. The unit’s response varies based on its design. Current will continue to rise until motor failure occurs or the unit's locked rotor protection kicks in, limiting current until the unit is powered down. Without intervention, damage to the motor or electronics is inevitable. Fans equipped with locked rotor protection can prevent catastrophic motor failure during a locked rotor condition. This protection ensures that, even after a locked rotor event, the fan will likely not suffer significant damage. If repair is needed, the motor generally remains intact, avoiding the need for full replacement. Have more questions for our engineering team? In the dynamic world of aerospace engineering, precision and reliability are non-negotiable. That's where wire mesh steps in as an unsung hero, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft. 🔩 Strength and Durability: Wire mesh components provide structural integrity, withstanding extreme temperatures, vibrations, and mechanical stress during flight. Their resilience is the backbone of aircraft reliability. 🔍 Filtration and Ventilation: Aerospace systems rely on wire mesh for critical functions like fuel filtration, air ventilation, and fluid control. Clean air and controlled fuel flow are essential for both safety and efficiency. 🌐 EMI/RFI Shielding: In our connected world, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI) can disrupt communication systems. Wire mesh acts as a shield, protecting sensitive electronics from these interferences. Our industrial mesh materials continue to meet the industry's evolving needs: https://loom.ly/Umur_AU #TWPWireMesh #WireMesh #MetalMesh #Aerospace #ISOCertification #ISO9001

Successfully providing the required performance and verifying our system design are crucial at #ERC. To ensure this, we perform detailed tests on our equipment and systems. To perform detailed test of any equipment, we need state of the art test facilities, and one such test bench is Motor Test Stand (MTS). This is instrumental in testing the main components of the electric engines in our propulsion systems: the engine control unit and the motor. Although MTS is a typical motor-generator test bench working in back-to-back configuration, what makes it significant is its instrumentation system, power handling capacity and versatility. MTS uses advanced sensors with high precision and accuracy to measure important parameters such as DC and AC voltage, current, temperature, mechanical torque, and speed. It is not only used to obtain performance characteristics of motor and inverter but can also be used to obtain their thermal behaviour by operating them in a controlled environment and monitoring the parameters meticulously. These tests are crucial for validating and verifying the performance, reliability, and safety requirements before installation in aircraft. #MTS #Aerospace

Universal law of the wall! The graph shows the actual velocity profile written in its non-dimensional form. This is the real variation of velocity normal to the wall, which was extracted from experimental measurements of fully developed turbulent flow between two parallel plates. It is called universal because flow very close to the wall looks similar regardless of application. When we write a flow parameter in its non-dimensional form, that profile holds regardless of the speed of the flow or shape of the body. The wall-flow profile always looks very similar. This data can be used to formulate the wall function that models the wall shear stress near the wall when the first cell adjacent to the wall is placed in a log-law layer. 2moIn windings, negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistors are commonly used. NTC thermistors are employed to monitor the temperature of motor windings or transformers. They help protect the equipment from overheating by reducing the current or triggering an alarm when the temperature exceeds a critical threshold.
