Have you recognized one of your employees today? Yesterday? The day before? People like to be recognized. It’s natural. It is your job to do that as a business owner and probably your easiest one. Three easy ways to do this every day: 1. Always end an internal meeting with an appreciation round of applause. 2. Happy Post-Its - leave a post-it on an employees desk giving them recognition. Watch them snack up (they will never throw it away) 3. White board of Fame: Keep a white board in the office (or document for remote companies) where any can provide tallies for good work and why. Reward your employees once they get so many tallies.
