Being in sales they will have enough experience in handling multiple cargos and issues related to it’s movement globally. Procurement & Purchasing teams in INDIA, this is for you. Antihak Cybersecurity team received more than 300+ messages for job applications in last 3 days, we were hiring for a project/client who said that it is super urgent and we need to close this project by the end of this week and share the order with you in the same time. So without further ado we started working on the requirement and begin the process of hiring /interviewing candidates, our team including me (total 3 people) were working on this for more than 3 days just to hear that - "this budget doesn't suit us" and the project is on hold and we have dropped the plan to do it with you. Oh really ? - May Sounds fair in a business process. - But what is the point of not replying on email ? - What is point of not picking up calls when our team is working for 3 whole days ? This is not the first time we have faced it. The procurement and purchase teams of some companies think that they are in a Vegetable market and they want to bargain on everything without even thinking about the quality and method of project execution of small companies. These procurement people anyways give the project to the lowest bidder which sometimes is totally idiotic. I will simplify something for some procurement teams out there. These are the factors which are involved in calculation of the cost of a project which we mention in the proposal = 1. Cost of operations/travel/electricity/internet/assets etc. 2. Cost of customer acquisition 3. Cost of delivery of project 4. Salary of employees as per the expertise level (L1,L2,L3) 5. Number of employees working on project (min. 3-5) 6. cost of software's used during the project delivery(4-10 softwares) 7. Salary/cost of Presales/sales/accounts team 8. Cost of marketing/advertisement 9. Cost of reaudit/revalidation/second round of testing. The VAPT of a single application may cost way higher than vendors are proposing to your company. So when you finalize a vendor for your requirements don't just choose someone with low cost, calculate the quality of the company's work, there "actual cost" of the project and the lumpsum value. Your work should be procuring the services/vendors/solution in a cost which is in your budget and with the approximate cost of the project not way higher than the actual cost. #procurement #purchase #vendormanagement #cybersecurity #cybersecurityvendors #cybersecuritycompany
