Every summer, our U.S.-based employees get a paid, non-PTO week off. It's a special time to connect with loved ones, pursue personal interests, and come back rejuvenated. This collective time off is just one of the ways Amgen supports work-life balance and helps our team recharge. Discover what else makes Amgen a great place to work: https://bit.ly/3Hpvyus

Very much appreciated 😊

Maybe some more companies will follow this great example. Kudos & thanks for sharing!

Thank you Amgen for making my 16 years working there the best ever. And the week off during the summer was a very much appreciated “gift” to all the employees!

Amgen, thank you for giving us time off to spend with our loved ones! This year, I am a first time mom, and this week I get to spend all of my time with my 4 month old son and husband! 🤍 #mycompany

Kudos! Well deserved down time for everyone and also increases likelihood of actually thoroughly enjoying time off and not coming back to overflowing inboxes since everyone is off 👏

Between this and year end shut down, you’re setting your employees up to avoid burnout.

I remember it very well. One downside was many maintenance people did not always get this time off because since it was a “Shutdown”. They had to work on all of the production equipment while not being used by Manufacturing.

Highly appreciate people who think out of the box for supporting their employees👍🏻👏🏻
