Did you know that this Memorial existed? More than 4,000 black men, women, and children died at the hands of white mobs between 1877 and 1950. Can you name any of them? This memorial in Montgomery, Alabama, is trying to change that. 🎥 CNN #montgomeryalabama
Unfortunately, in 2023 fight for justice and equality still exist. Generations of outward hostility towards a people who had no voice to Stand Up BRUTALIZED BY THOSE WHO LABLED HUMANS AS STOCK.. TODAYS JOURNEY OF FREEDOM FIGHTERS EDUCATED PROFESSIONALS PICKED UP THE GAUNTLET MOVING IT TOWARDS EQUALITY FOR ALL..BRAVO TRUE CHAMPIONS.
Mike, I agree with your comments. As Bryan says in the video, until we (all people) say, "never again"... I don't foresee the education, realization and unification that is a MUST (my words).
My wife and I made the journey to Montgomery to see this memorial. It's stunning... and the museum a few blocks away is equally powerful. Everyone should experience it.
NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN Tragic beyond words
Thank you

1yBoth Hegel and Lyndon B. Johnsons had this to say about history and historic events. If you do not learn from history. You learn from history." Hegel. " If you do not learn from history you are doomed to repeat it."Lynden Bsines Johnson President of the United States. This is the 21st century and the old 20th Civil Rights model of shaming White into facilitating self determination is toxic and ultimately leads to two camps: Those in the camp of defending and promoting White Nordic Myths as White tribalism, also known as White Supremacy. And those men women and yes even children if Good will, that perfer to see Humankind as one cohesive unit. Working in tandem to perpetuate the species Homo Sapiens. Like Dr Martin Luther King Jr once said. "We will either learn to live together as brothers and sister or die together as fools." Cooperation, not War, hunger and death. That is the way to go.
