ChatGPT 4 recognized | Google: Top Global Patient Blood Management Influencer | Top Global Anemia Influencer | Documentary Producer | Global Chief Creative Officer |
We applaud Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaserve-Lilly S.A.C.I. for their creative approach to expanding the boundaries of health awareness. Today's vibe prepares the message of tomorrow. We don't start cultures, we create them. People with CKD who also have diabetes are at greater risk for #anemia. They develop anemia earlier and often more severely than those with CKD alone. Rob Base's song was right, but if anemia awareness had been widely known back then, maybe "it takes two" would have been "it takes three" to make it right. We all need a remix in life. Let's partner with anemia awareness for a stronger remix. It's never too late for important health awareness. We don't need donations—we need your help spreading the word. Awareness is the new currency of our culture. Join us in raising anemia awareness for better health outcomes. Share this message and visit our website to learn more.

How much does our health affect our work performance? We often separate the two as if health is a discrete thing that can affect whether or not we turn up to work BUT once we’re there our ailments, challenges or symptoms (physical and emotional) can be parked and we just get on with the day of working through emails, targets and deadlines. 📈I know there has been an upturn in organisations supporting wellbeing and health in the workplace over recent years - and this is a welcome change. 🙌🏻 But, I really think we need more acknowledgment of how much health and wellbeing can optimise work related performance AND enjoyment. 🤔 Shout out to Nancy Doyle whose recent intentional and strategic changes to her lifestyle has meant she’s in prime condition for a key event. So my advice has to be… Don’t just pay lip service to health and wellbeing because it helps people ‘feel better’ on a superficial. Feeling better is important but feeling in control and empowered is more important. . Take the time to be intentional about changes that will target demands of work and life so that you can peform in a more optimal, resilient and fulfilling way. 🌐www.bernadettedancy.co.uk for information about stress management coaching and corporate speaking services.

Disability, disfigurement and disadvantage are the reality of life for the 1.7 billion people affected by neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). Medicines Development for Global Health's singular focus in 2024 continues to be the development of new medicines to treat these diseases. In support of our pipeline of new medicines – moxidectin and dovramilast – we are pleased to announce the launch of our new philanthropy web page, where making a donation to change lives is easy and impactful. Moxidectin and dovramilast hold the prospect for improved treatments for up to seven NTDs, and in some conditions these medicines have the potential to accelerate disease elimination. You can learn more about those diseases at our website (medicinesdevelopment.com). But without funding we will not be able to conduct the rigorous clinical trials necessary to gain regulatory approval for these agents. As a not-for-profit organisation we do not have a revenue stream to fund our efforts, so we rely on grants, awards and the generosity of donors to advance our work. If you would like to help us in our efforts to eliminate NTDs, please visit us here https://lnkd.in/euk7bxBc to make a donation. We are registered as a charity/not-for-profit in Australia, the UK and the United States. #moxidectin #dovramilast #beatNTDs #onchocerciasis #lymphaticfilariasis #GlobalHealth #scabies #leprosy #donate #charity #NotForProfit

Here's a breakdown of the process: - **Check-in and Health Screening (15-30 minutes):** Registration, health screening, blood pressure check, and more. - **Platelet Donation (1.5 to 2 hours):** Apheresis process separates platelets, returning other blood components. - **Post-donation Recovery (10-15 minutes):** Monitored briefly with snacks and drinks provided.
