Let's learn about Unshielded twisted pair cable . . Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) is a type of copper cable used in networking. It consists of pairs of insulated copper wires twisted together without any additional shielding. The twisting of the pairs helps to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) from external sources. . . Types of Unshielded twisted pair cable 1. Category 3 (Cat 3) 2. Category 5e (Cat 5e) 3. Category 6 (Cat 6) 4. Category 6a (Cat 6a) 5. Category 7 (Cat 7) . . We are thrilled to announce the immediate availability of our Intrinsically Safe Relay Barrier for use in Remote Control (Start/Stop) connections for Zone 2, Zone 1 and Zone 0 classification areas, with Gas Groups IIB and IIC. This includes all open air Oil Mines and Coal Mines. Righill's ISR Barrier has been independently tested by a credible third party laboratory and has been found fit for the stringiest "Ex-i(a)" marking. This ISR Barrier is certified as a support Apparatus, to be installed inside the Motor Starter in an unclassified safe area, and converts existing outgoing Remote Control connections into Intrinsically Safe ones. No changes to existing wiring is needed. This product was developed to cater to the conditions as put forth by the CEA Regulations (2023) Clause 112 (Precautions where gas exists). Sub Clause (1) and (2) are for Coal Mines, whereas (3) and (4) are for Oil Mines. With impressive specifications (Please see Brochure attached), as far as we know, this is the only product of this kind, completely Designed, Developed, Manufactured and Third Party tested in India. While most other options, require the use of an Ex-i 2 Channel Digital Input sensor and an external Relay to reliably effect remote start/stop, the ISR is a single unit which completes this entire process with minimal connections. Carefully designed circuits employing Galvanically Isolated Power Supplies and Optically Isolated control paths make this magic happen, reliably every single time. We solicit your valuable inquiries for this product. With Best Regards, Team Righill

Wish to share that Righill's Intrinsically Safe Relay Barrier is now available for purchase. We solicit your valuable inquiries for this product. Some customers that I have interacted with, seem to be in dilemma about the use of Intrinsic Safety mechanisms. They typically site the Voltage Limits prescribed for Remote Control connections in open air Mines as being up to 250V, if the Remote Control push button stations are appropriately protected. (CEA Regulations 2023, See clause 104 (iv)). And thus deem their existing arrangement for Remote Control as OK. Interestingly, Clause 112 (Precautions where gas exists) and its sub-clauses, in the same document unequivocally mention the use of Intrinsically Safe signalling mechanisms for Remote Control connections in mines where Inflammable Gaseous mixtures may exist. It is important to understand that Clause 104 is talking about voltage limits to be used at the Push Button stations. While Clause 112 is talking about the signalling mechanism for the cables that travel from the safe area to the hazardous areas. The two clauses are complimentary and not mutually exclusive. There is no negotiation with Intrinsic Safety here !! Another important thing to realize is that signalling at "less than 30V" is not equal to being "Intrinsically Safe". Intrinsic Safety ensures low energy signalling and is guaranteed to be safer than all other signalling mechanisms (i.e. in avoiding any sparks) as it stands on 3 important design pillars: 1. Low Voltage control signals. 2. Very Low Current control paths. 3. Galvanically isolated control signals, unreferred to the Control ground. Carefully designed electronic circuits in the Righill ISR module achieve reliable signalling across real world cabling lengths, on each start/stop event every single time ! Happy to share this achievement of Righill Electrics !! Best Regards, Vishal Sapre #oilandgas #oil #oilandgasindustry #intrinsicsafety https://lnkd.in/de9ndDXk

Corrosion in production structures and pipelines can lead to significant environmental and financial losses, but impressed current protection systems can help mitigate these risks. Monitoring the rectifiers in these systems is crucial for ensuring they function correctly, and if your RTU is already on the SCADA network, connecting rectifier signals is straightforward. Moore Industries' ECT Signal Isolators and Converters are ideal for converting high DC Voltage and Current outputs to 4-20mA signals, making integration seamless. In the dynamic landscape of the oil and gas industry, the quest for enhanced solutions to address Surface Casing Vent Flow (SCVF) and Gas Migration (GM) remains a paramount challenge. Traditional methods, while valuable, often fall short in providing the precision and reliability necessary to discern subtle flow anomalies and ensure optimal well integrity. The MiCro fiber optic directional noise tool is a revolutionary solution poised to transform the landscape of SCVF/GM detection in the market. Unlike standard noise and hydrophone tools, the MiCro offers unparalleled precision and sensitivity, allowing for the detection and characterization of even the subtlest vent flow anomalies with exceptional accuracy. Equipped with cutting-edge directional technology, including advanced signal processing algorithms and high-resolution sensors, this tool delivers unmatched reliability in identifying SCVF/GM occurrences while minimizing false positives.
