There is always a difference of opinion between the electrical and mechanical units in the repair department. Have you had such an experience? How did you manage it? Please share your experiences and theories with friends for better management of this matter. #maintenance #maintenancemanagement #maintenancejobs #maintenancemanager #maintenanceengineering #maintenanceservices #engineering #mechanicalengineer #electricalengineer

Greetings from Brazil, in this case we hired mechanical and electrical third parties to provide the solution, as the third party will provide the solution as it is a question of the third party's survival. until the company understands that the individuals under discussion are no longer necessary, instead of firing them... and in this game you put the individual in a situation that he has to decide or solve or the third party will take my place

The best way is to understand both things well. Actually, it is best to know some industrial programming software too. PLC's in particular are wonderful for troubleshooting, because they show all the logic and io states together. That may be their best strength. I was very fortunate to spend a few thousand hours in each of these areas in my first job after college. It was a small company with a lot of automation built in-house, and even though it did not pay the best initially, I would not trade places with either Bugs or Daffy now.

🛎 I remember a technical leader who used to say: "It´s not electrical or mechanical - it´s an operator problem" 🤣

The best way is using Ishikawa diagrams (also called fishbone diagrams).

I believe that electricity and mechanics cannot be isolated in the industrial world. At the machine level or at the worker level.
