Treasury outlines Phase IV of IRA guidance which includes finalizing guidance on the new tech neutral section 45Y PTC and 48E ITC, the section 48 ITC, section 45V hydrogen credit, the section 45X advanced manufacturing credit , the Low-Income Communities Bonus Credit Program, and rules for electing out of partnership tax status under section 761. With respect to the section 48 ITC, Treasury notes that they expect to finalize rules before finalizing rules for the technology-neutral credits to provide further certainty for investments, including for qualified biogas property and other types of eligible property. #inflationreductionact #energy #tax

11moInteresting take on some of the HK insights. I do not see how Landfill gas to RNG is eligible, in the same proposal where upgrading equipment is ineligible, the two concepts are mutually exclusive. Pleased to see others are diving right in, lots of work to do here to align with what was seemingly obvious in the Statute language
