Hearts breaking for Palestine: Will you join us in making a difference? As we scroll through our feeds, the images from Rafah pierce through our screens, searing into our hearts. Mothers shivering as they cradle their lost babies, Brothers limping with a trail of blood behind them, And innocent children left to fend for themselves. How can we turn away from such suffering? We've pleaded in our prayers, marched in protests, begged for a ceasefire—but still, the agony persists. Yet, in the midst of this darkness, there is a glimmer of hope—a chance for us to stand together and bring about change. 🤝With the month of Ramadan upon us, we invite you to unite in our Ramadan Gala for Palestine. We are standing up for the Palestinians who refuse to give up, despite their unimaginable struggles. They haven't lost hope, so how can we? Do people still donate to the Red Cross? We feel that Red Cross is not faithfully and diligently doing its job in connection with the Israeli Hostages. If you feel differently please explain why (while imagining that it is your baby, child, wife, husband, daughter, son, grandson or grandfather kept in Terror and cold in an underground tunnel-dungeons for 100+ days). We call for official inquiries. We call for global media interference in this issue and for investigational journalism. We call for the absolute #dissolution of International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC. We can and will get our justice and the way the world is currently defunding UNRWA explains, I hope, that our wish will come true. It is not the same, but is it not the same? (I ask and remember how the Red Cross ignored the Jews in Rotherham Holocaust and issued a public admission and apology years later and now it abandons Israelis?!). A reality in which an organisation is provided with our trust and millions in funds to pull a de facto no show when it counts is globally unacceptable from my eyes and I pray that either (A) Red Cross will change its ways and do something any able organisation should and would do, or (B) it will be dissolved effective immediately and another able and willing organisation will be appointed in its stead for doing this sacred job of protecting all most needy, whether Israelies or not, but including Israelis. I just want to mention that there are 2 Israeli Hostages by Hamas since 2014 and 2015. Their names are: Avraham "Avera" Mengistu (abducted in 2014) and Hisham al-Sayed (abducted in 2015) but have you heard Red Cross talking or taking any real actions for them since? Please advise if you know otherwise because I have not. #do_your_job

[Views are my own] In times when the world around us seems overwhelming, it's important to remember that each of us can make a difference. Action, no matter how small, can contribute to positive change. If you feel scared to speak out or you're unsure what to do next, here's how to get started: 1. Donate. 💰 Sometimes, while it feels like a visible display of support makes us feel positive and useful, a real helpful thing you can do is provide vital resources to those who need them most. Experts on the ground already exist. Your cash and financial support empowers them to make a difference. 2. Show up. 👋 Vigils, rallies, protests and parent picnics. While it may seem out of your comfort zone, and too loud and angry, take heart. You might find it one of the most healing ways to channel your helpless grief. Imagine if everyone feeling helpless put our bodies to action. These are unprecedented times. Don’t be confined to the history books as indifferent. Palestine is fighting for survival, there isn't the luxury of activism choice. 3. Demand accountability from those in power. 📣 Every one of us is a constituent. During election years we have more power than ever. If you're tired of seeing dead children and other innocent human beings in your social feed you can demand a ceasefire. Demand an end to arms sales. Condemn collective punishment. Demand all humans' right to exist. 4. Sign and share. 📋 While we may feel fatigued at ‘just another petition’ circulating on social media, the majority of power lies in numbers. Sign, email, speak from the heart but most of all make sure you’re clear on your demand: We are calling for the Israeli Government to stop the genocide of the people of Gaza. A ceasefire. An end to arms sales. 5. Understand. 🤔 This is not an issue that is too “complex” for anyone to understand. That is a silencing tactic. There are plenty of resources available to learn more about Palestine. Educate yourself and others. More rage. More action. More optimism. 🇵🇸 #ceasefire #palestine

FEED OUR UMMAH in PALESTINE NOW ENOUGH talking ACTION is NEEDED whatever it takes, by LAND, AIR and SEA to DELIVER FOOD, WATER and ALLOW NGOS to set up RE-NUTRITION CENTERS for PREGNANT WOMEN, INFANTS and CHILDREN حسبي الله و نعم الوكيل ولا حولا ولا قوة الا بالله #airdropaidforgaza As a reminder and warning: Sura « al ma’un » (107) 1. « Have you considered the person who denies the Day of Judgement? » This ayah poses a simple question: what kind of person would deny the obvious truth? The answer is provided in the following ayahs of this Surah. 2. « It is he who treats the orphan with harshness » A Muslim has numerous obligations towards orphans: those who do not give orphans their due, that is, do not feed and treat them with kindness, are disobedient towards Allah. 3. « And does not urge others to feed the needy » Charity is another obligation on Muslims, and helping the poor and the needy is a mandatory act, assuming one is financially and physically capable of doing so. To not give charity would, as in the previous ayah, be an act of disobedience towards Allah. 4. « So woe to those who pray » 5. But are heedless in their prayer Bowing in prostration to Allah, but not following any of the tenets of Islam, is a sign of an hypocrite. Such people are regular in prayers, and even observe fast and adhere to all other obligations of Islam, but when it comes to helping others and offering charity to their poorer brethren, they are heedless. Indeed, such heedless prayers are of no use. 6. « Those who perform good deeds only to show off » This ayah refers to those people who may pray in a congregation of believers, but they are not praying to seek the Mercy of Allah; instead, they are praying to show the world that they are religious and righteous. This, very clearly, is a sign of hypocrisy as such people do not pray for the sake of Allah SWT, but instead, they pray to get approval and praise from their fellow companions. 7. « Yet forbid common kindness! » Common kindness is any action that is of use for others. It can be something as simple as a smile or a word of kindness spoken to others that might cheer them up. Allah says that people who deny and overlook small acts of kindness are the worst, as they neglect their fellow human beings.

A long time ago, around the seventies, Hamas was formed, and America and Israel were financing it, and Iran was training it, and this was after the Islamic Revolution in 1979!!, and the goal of forming Hamas was to fragment the Palestinian issue!!! To this day, all of Hamas’ actions harm its cause, its people, and its country, in order to increase its bank account with donations from here and there, while it is on the chair!!!!, and it always uses the method of brokenness and weakness, and that its people are oppressed before the world, in order to increase donations to it!!, and this becomes clear that After the October 7 charade and talk about victory and the liberation of Al-Aqsa!!!, Hamas leaders hid in the tunnels and did not defend a house, a hospital, a school, a mosque, or a church, and they left the defenseless people to face their fate in front of a merciless killing machine, which is Israel, which dealt with the matter rashly!!!, and they ended up losing and destroying 80% of Gaza was completely destroyed, more than 80 thousand citizens were killed and injured, most of them children and women, and 2 million Palestinians were displaced and starved!!!, We must know that Israel’s security from its point of view is ensuring that a Palestinian state will not be established and supporting and deepening the Palestinian division, and Israel. It worked to finance and support Hamas and strengthen its rule in Gaza to separate it from the West Bank!! However, over time, the Palestinian factions’ interests converged with this approach, and they accepted it and worked to consolidate it for their personal interests only!!!, You must know that the reason that they are the only people who remain under occupation is because of their choices that they chose on their own and by their own will, which is accepting division from the first day and submitting to a group of different warring factions among themselves that only agree on dividing aid resources and areas of influence. These factions were never concerned with their cause as much as they were concerned with their influence and their bank accounts, which increased with every new massacre and pictures of hundreds of corpses of children and women and the greater the massacres and the more horrific the suffering, the more their influence increased and their presence became more established!!!, This division between the factions must end and be placed under the administration of one government!! But that will not happen because they only care about their selfish calculations and appearance!!, But in the end, in order for the Palestinian and Israeli people and all the peoples of the region to become safe, all terrorist movements, especially Hamas, must be eliminated!!! With no country supporting these movements financially or morally and taking the necessary steps towards forming a single Palestinian leadership!!.

Becoming a mother changed me on a fundamental level. I've always been empathetic, but my children have given me an even more expansive view. They ask questions that they don't even understand are amazing, just because they want more information. They have high hopes, big dreams, sometimes silly dreams, and each one is met with "Of course you can, you can do anything!" I also now approach and view most things from the lens of motherhood. All children are someone's children. All children are our collective children, and the future of us. All children of Palestine are our children. As we get ready to celebrate the holidays, Palestine's children are hungry. As we prepare our homes to welcome family and friends, Palestine's children mourn a loss they can't even fully grasp yet. As we pop bottles, Palestine's children die of thirst. As some of us celebrate the birth of a baby from Palestine, Palestine's children are wrapped in body bags, sometimes with parents begging them to open their eyes. Sometimes with no one left to mourn them. Please speak up. Call your Representatives. Demand a ceasefire. Attend a vigil or direct action near you. Don't stop talking about the children of Palestine. Don't stop talking about the people of Palestine. Don't stop talking about Palestine. #CeasefireNow #ACallForPeace #KatChats (Image description: Palestinian children playing on a swing set in better times)
