I've been a user (and a fan) of Rewind.ai since its early access days (Dec 2022), and on top of the obvious benefits the product provides me on a daily basis, it's great to see a market first-mover that continuously remains at least one step ahead of similarly-perceived products.
If you don't yet know Rewind, hop over to www.rewind.ai and witness it for yourself (trust me - the alternative would have been reading my usual overly-comprehensive-including-minute-nuances-I'm-sure-you-need-to-know overview...).
If you know Rewind, then just click on Dan's video below, and I hope you'll get as excited (or at least intrigued) as I am now, seeing what the present and future holds for Limitless.
P.S - Why I think they're at least one step ahead?
Here are just two out of numerous thoughts running through my head after watching this latest announcement:
1. While other companies quickly introduced similar "Overlay screen recording" (enabling Zoom/Meet/Teams recording when you're not the meeting's owner) and piggybacked via API on someone else's LLMs to create transcription/summary/notes - Limitless is now introducing a possible solution to the consent issue in these previously one-side-aware recording (see in the video how this would work).
2. While other companies also announced/introduced a wearable always-recording device to basically act as a better Siri for consumers, Limitless - based on that solution to the consent issue - could become the first practical and legal "second brain" solution for regulated person-to-person services industries (the video mentions just a healthcare example, but that's just the tip of the iceberg...).
P.S 2 - Can't wait for my Limitless pendant...

I think this will succeed where it has seemed like the Humane AI pin has not (I can't say it's failed really it just hasn't seemed to be as broadly received)
I think it's crucial to have very specific application of new technology like this so that new customers can easily see how it can change their life, save them time, or help reduce headaches (from meetings! yes pls)
I think this is what the AI pin was missing — it introduced too much new tech too quickly, instead of a companion product and app that would gain market traction immediately because it doesn't require a big shift from their users to adopt (it also is only $99 vs. $699).
I think that the Humane AI pin expected too much of its users too soon — people like their phones and other devices and they don't want a replacement for them. Instead what is wiser was to create accessory devices and software that can be used where and with what people are already familiar with in order to get even your most early adopters.
This approach, this product and software, the pricing will all just make sense to the right target audience — basically anyone who works a job where they meet with people (which we're all complaining about all the time). Oh, and on top of that I wouldn't be surprised if companies will let people expense these or if they don't launch an option for team purchases very soon.

Take ten minutes out of your day and watch this video for the pure reason that Limitless has figured out a highly viable, safe and secure approach to #AI augmentation.
A default setting for most of us related to omnipresent AI is, 'that's creepy', but what you can see here is a platform built to effectively augmented your day-to-day with AI, while allowing you, AND the people you're talking to, to be in control of the data.
The #aiprivacy piece is especially interesting (at 4:27 in the video).
Congratulations Dan Siroker, Brett Bejcek and Paul Stamatiou.

iOS 18 Leaks? As an #iOSdeveloper, I'm practically vibrating with excitement for #WWDC24 at Apple!
Here's why, and how you can leverage it to get ahead:
The AI Revolution is Coming to #iOS (Finally!):
Rumors are swirling that #iOS18 will be a game-changer, with a heavy focus on #artificialintelligence. This is HUGE! Imagine the possibilities – smarter #apps, more intuitive user experiences, and a whole new level of #innovation. At #WWDC24, we'll get the first look at these features, allowing us to start brainstorming and prototyping cutting-edge #apps before anyone else.
Apple is notorious for dropping hints about upcoming features throughout the conference. By soaking up every keynote, session, and lab we can, we can decode those hints and get a head start on building apps that truly leverage the power of iOS 18.
You might have noticed that Microsoft has been giving some of its in-box apps a major makeover lately, adding productivity-boosting features left and right. Think extra abilities in the Snipping Tool, and a modern makeover for Paint and Notepad. Well, it seems like Sticky Notes in Windows 10 and 11 is next in line to get a makeover.
While the details are under wraps for now, I bet these updates will bring some awesome AI features to make your note-taking even smarter.
If you're a fan of Sticky Notes for keeping track of important details, you'll be happy to know that it's here to stay as a desktop app (it’s not turning into a web app anytime soon).
Do you use Sticky Notes? Or will you after its makeover? #StickyNotes#Productivity#MicrosoftUpdateshttps://lnkd.in/dmvNcmQMhttps://lnkd.in/gQRDuDdV
Over the last few years I've heard so many asks about mixed fleets and whether Esper can manage both iOS and Android. Well, there is good news here for those of you tired of trying to manage separate OS types within your MDM.
The time has come where you no longer have a "Mixed OS Fleet" to manage separately... you now have ONE FLEET managed by a single Blueprint.
