Interesting visit to a client's site yesterday where they are way ahead of the curve when it comes to planning for total asset lifecycle and the pre-commissioning of a new production plant. The commissioning engineers were still on site snagging the equipment. UPTIME Consultant Ltd® was there to sense check what the maintenance would look like by applying our Criticality approach. Then there were two Condition Monitoring Engineers, one was capturing baseline Vibration readings from drives whilst the other was using a RDI Technologies Inc. Motion Amplification Camera on the critical pipework and superstructure of the build. Can't share who the client is, but it was great to work alongside the two CM Engineers (one of whom I knew anyway) it can be a lonely existence on the road so it was good to share some reliability learnings over lunch 👏 #ConditionMonitoring #Criticality #Collaboration #RDI #VibrationAnalysis #MotionAmplification #BePrepared #MaintenanceStrategy

Ni-cd battery testing & commissioning started...... Safety Checks:** - Ensure all safety features and mechanisms are functioning properly. . **Data Logging:** - Record the battery's voltage, current, and temperature during the charge/discharge cycles. . **Calibration:** - Calibrate the battery management system if necessary to ensure accurate monitoring and control. Performance Testing:** - Measure the battery's capacity and compare it to the manufacturer's specifications. - Conduct load testing to verify the battery can handle the expected load **Final Report:** - Document the commissioning process, including all tests and their results.
