FEMA released the 2023 National Preparedness Report on December 5th. It confirms what a lot of us already know. The frequency, severity and intensity continue to increase rapidly. This validates the importance of focusing on preparedness at home and work. For us as emergency managers, it is now just as important, if not more in some cases, than response.
