Siltbuster's Wastewater Solution for a distillery A distillery was facing challenges with their wastewater treatment system. Their current system wasn’t efficient and meant they had to tanker off the wastewater adding significant costs to their operations. Siltbuster designed a system to fit within their available space constraints and cope with their wastewater requirements more effectively. The system was comprehensively tested before being delivered to the customer. The system we provided included: MBBR20: A Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor for biological treatment. MT8 and MT2 Mix Tanks: For thorough mixing and treatment. Integrated DAF (D5): A Dissolved Air Flotation unit for solid-liquid separation. Integrated Chemical Dosing System (iCDS): For precise chemical treatment. A propylene glycol antifreeze solution that is 35% to 50% propylene glycol to distilled water is recommended.
