On Wednesday, August 14, Amtrak had the privilege of attending the freshman orientation at Carver Vocational Technical School in Baltimore, MD. Our University Recruiter, Payton Sutton, engaged with the incoming high school freshmen, discussing exciting career opportunities at Amtrak and helping to shape the pipeline for the next generation of Amtrak team members. The Carver Vocational Technical School is located in West Baltimore, where we are making significant strides with the Frederick Douglass Tunnel Program. This program is not just about enhancing infrastructure but also about investing in the community and the future of the area. At Amtrak, we are committed to supporting local communities and fostering talent that will drive the future of rail travel. We look forward to continuing these efforts and working closely with the bright young minds of Baltimore.
