Tired of Feeling like 💩? | Let's Release the Weight(s) that Hold You There |🌱Natural, Drug-Free Functional Medicine, Clinical Nutrition & Wellness Doc | Personalized Care for Busy Folks who need Simple Powerful Results
‼️This may sound bizarre, but how your doctor/HCP/coach talks to you specifically MATTERS the most‼️ ➡️Of course your care plan should be individualized to you, that should go without saying!⬅️ If it’s not, quite bluntly, YOU NEED A NEW CARE PROVIDER! I am reminded of this as I guide three very different amazing powerful women AND myself through a Metabolic and Lifestyle Reboot for a bi-yearly refresh. How I give advise and guide my clients depends on how THEY learn, NOT in how well I can teach some knowledge. Everyone is different! And that is honored. And damn well should be! ✨Some folks just need to know someone is there to walk with them. I am. I do. ✨Some folks need me to check on them or just they will just not engage. It’s OK. I check. That’s my job. ✨Some folks need to talk it out and hear it from many different angles. We talk until it’s heard. Period. Done. ALL WAYS of learning and being coached are valid and OK! You should be made to feel valued, seen and listened to. As a client, YOU need to be able to SIMPLY utilize the knowledge for yourselves. It’s not about the Doc or Coach. It’s about YOU!! I say this both as a client myself and as a coach and Doctor. It’s about the CLIENT. ➡️If your coach or doc or other health care provider does not walk the path WITH you, GET ON ANOTHER PATH with one that will. _________ Ok. PSA rant over. ☺️ If this resonates with you, let me know. 👍🏼 I am passionate about caring about people as they are!

Retirement HEALTH Specialist * Medipreneurs Summit *Speaker * Author * Geriatric Specialist * Creative Problem Solver
Navigating healthcare - In the past month: - 16 phone calls to the physician's office - 10 My Chart pleas to be seen - Office 'sit in' without an appointment to beg for an appointment - Orders for crucial diagnostic tests with instructions to make calls and see where we could get them scheduled (do-it-yourself healthcare) - 30 hours in the ER (including observation unit) advocating the whole way to not be released without some answers and one of the crucial tests. - Finally access to a highly qualified specialist who spent 1.5 hours with her two days after the ER!!! No answers, but feeling like we are in good hands to find them. Do you know how to advocate for yourself and navigate healthcare? I saw people angry, giving up, threatening, cussing, getting physical, sobbing, hysterical, screaming. None of that helps you navigate. I am now on fire to share techniques for you and your family! Learn to politely yet assertively get the care you need, be prepared with all of the information you need, know with whom you need to share that information and how, and manage your emotions as you do it. https://lnkd.in/dtBRK4SM

5 ways I consistently achieved optimum patient satisfaction. I want to discuss a phrase that we should all eliminate from our vocabulary in health and social care: "It's only...". This seemingly harmless phrase can have a profound impact on how we treat our patients/service users and their concerns. Over my 10 years of experience in healthcare, I've seen the detrimental effects this term can have on the care we provide. When we say "It's only..."—whether it's "It's only a headache" or "It's only a mental health call out"—we inadvertently minimise and devalue our patients' concerns. But a concern is a concern, no matter how small we might think it is. Have you ever dismissed a patient's worry only to realise later that it was more serious than you initially thought? Here are 5 ways you can consistently achieve optimum patient satisfaction: · Validate Every Concern · Give Your Full Attention · Create A Culture Of Empathy · Use Empowering Language · Reflect and Improve Not using the term "It's only..." in healthcare can transform the way we think about and actively treat our patients. By implementing all the steps above into your practice, we can enhance the standards of care and build stronger, more trusting relationships with our patients. #leadership #innovate #quote #creators #content #blogging #linkinpost #careersadvice #career #healthcare #care #selfimprovement #learninganddevelopment
