When we think about changing jobs and growing professionally, we usually picture a role in a new organization - which can be a great option. Given the job market and for various personal reasons, there are also some terrific reasons to consider a new position with your current employer. These might include familiarity with the organization, personal growth, existing flex policies you'd like to maintain, keeping your same commute, working towards retirement vesting, being curious about another department for increased knowledge and/or fulfillment, and increased salary, among other things. You also might love your current company and want to pursue a higher-impact role to learn, grow, and contribute even more. In some cases, running parallel paths and looking for new opportunities in and out of your current company can be a wise, flexible approach that may uncover some new and exciting options. In fact, changing departments can sometimes be a faster way out of a challenging work situation than switching organizations. If the new internal promotion/transfer, boss, and colleagues within your same company are more your vibe, this shift can significantly improve your daily life and well-being. Plus, depending on the situation, it might be a less intensive process than a solely external job search. ➡️Check out my newest blog post to continue reading and for more info on internal promotions & transfers✨️ https://lnkd.in/dysQkfVk 🌟Find out how working with me can accelerate your job search. Within more than one and half year of career break , I`ve been asked a lot how did I risk to quit the previous work and go after drastic changes. This question has been asked by my firends, by new connections and even by HR professionals, surprisingly, because who if not HR specialists should know the reasons of such crucial changes in employees career path. . Well, it`s really if not hard , but sometimes scary to move to the unknown and uncertainity, especially if you are in your forties, but if you do not step forward and reflect on you will never know what waits for you 😊 or where do you want to go further. The everyday routine keeps us away from " significantly thinking " , from observing what we lose or what we gain in our working place, what we do not want to do and which is the most important what we Want To Do. Those extra break times could seem to step one back from " gained by others` progress" sometimes, but in real a person gains much more, gets a fresh overview and prospective on career continuity, recharge and not only. . So, do not be afraid of changes guys, they are allways usefull and worth it, Always! #career #break #changes #employee #business #development #idea

Navigating the modern career landscape often leaves professionals pondering: Is it more beneficial to frequently change jobs, embrace diverse opportunities and experiences, or stay with one company, investing in deep-rooted growth and stability? Both paths offer unique advantages. Job hopping can lead to a broad skill set and potentially faster upward mobility. At the same time, long-term commitment to a single organization might foster strong internal networks and a profound understanding of the company's culture and goals. As the workforce continues to evolve, striking the right balance between growth and stability becomes key.
