❤️ This American Heart Awareness Month let’s talk about the vital role of screening and diagnosis in preventing heart disease. Early detection is key to effective intervention and reducing risks. Regular check-ups and heart health screenings can uncover issues that might otherwise go unnoticed. Here’s what you can do: 1)     Schedule Regular Check-ups: Make sure you have routine health assessments, especially if you have risk factors. 2)     Know Your Numbers: Keep tabs on blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar. 3)     Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to any unusual symptoms like chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or fatigue. 4)     Advocate for Heart Health: Encourage your loved ones to prioritize screenings and lead heart-healthy lives. Together, we can ensure that heart disease is identified and managed effectively. Let’s raise awareness and make heart health a top priority this month and beyond! 💪 ❤️ #HeartHealth #EarlyDetection #AmericanHeartMonth #GEHealthCare

From a patient’s caregiver perspective, we always place others first and avoid the unfair 90-day minimum Medicare allows for seniors leaving adult children in charge of their beloved parent’s situation while caring & raising up for the next generation. It’s uncomfortable to witness health preventative outcomes that we know are inevitable given our parentage DNA,…yet we avoid the truth. Our ultimate outcome is not in our control. Science does its’ best but still not able to deliver all outcomes. And our current healthcare system does not allow nor afford those opportunities to those in need of affordable diabetic or oncology necessities. Sleep well tonight, for those who truly advocate for those in need. Sleep well, you are right. Time will catch up.
