Dr. Evan S. Levine MD, FACC recently made a few TikTok videos showing his ignorance to the veterinary profession. It is sad to see that he still has not been able to issue an apology for overstepping with his comments. Needless to say, I want to acknowledge the amazing human medicine individuals who do care about the veterinary profession and are not backing this individual on his statements. We need to continue to work together so we can help save all our patients moving forward rather than creating a divide. Choose respect over ignorance. Education is power, and if Dr. Levine and the NY Times want to continue the conversation, I welcome them to join me in visiting some of the most amazing veterinary hospitals in the area I serve. We can transparently talk about the costs to own a veterinary practice on an individual and corporate level, and why human medicine is so different than veterinary medicine. https://lnkd.in/gWGxfhn4
