It has been an absolute honour to take time over the holidays to research and learn about the powerful ways companies and brands are taking bold action towards equality across various industries. One step at a time, one company at a time. These nominees are companies that are quite literally powering our world and embodying the essence of what is possible in reaching new heights and embracing the futuristic notion of elevating culture into the realms of space. The future of technology and human connection is going to change the world. I have contributed my voice by nominating impactful programs and initiatives with a focus on inclusivity, belonging, supplier diversity, access to funding, education and so much more! The Google Judges and due diligence team have one heck of a job as the companies we are seeing this year are out of this world taking action!!! Nominate your company or a company you know that is taking action so they can unite alongside media, influencers, leaders and ambassadors on May 29, 2024, to inspire, ignite conversations, and create a lasting impact on the path toward a more inclusive and empowered future. #deib #dei #industryshift #drivingimpact #CWEindustrygala

Change Leader | Operations, Marketing & Communications Expert | Creative & Problem Solver | DEI Leader (asian@dentsu Co-Lead)
It was truly a privilege to moderate such an special AAPI C-Suite event. A million heartfelt thank yous to Nikita Malhotra, David Angelo, and Jenn Wong for your precious time and brave honesty. The conversations we had were truly inspiring, giving many of us the stories we needed to hear to better understand our career path forward. And my deepest appreciation to Bernice Chao ✨, Christina Lu, Meghna Kothari, Leisha Bereson, Genie Lara, Lawrence H., and Andrew Gelbart for all your Asians In Advertising leadership, support, and behind the scenes magic to help bring this virtual event to life. This community is truly a dream come true for Asians trying to break barriers. With so many great gems shared during our panel discussion, the lessons that deeply resonated with me: 🌟 There is no “one right” path, only the path that feels right to you. Listen to yourself – what really matters to you, what excites you and gives you energy, what motivates you to keep going. Only then can your exceptional gifts and talents take you farther than what you thought was possible. 🏠 Own who you are and let that shine. We are who raised us, how we grew up, and our what has happened to us. But we are also everything we set our mind to. Mindset matters. We can practice authentic leadership every day in our personal and professional life by embracing our roots and origin stories and giving others permission to do the same. 💕 Be in the relationship and apprenticeship business. Don't let perfection and fear, be your enemy of progress. Your success isn't just about what you know—it's about who you know and how you grow. We thrive on connections, and these connections often open doors to new opportunities. Whether you're just starting out or aiming for the C-Suite, focus on building genuine relationships and seeking mentors who can guide your journey. Every great career is built on the foundation of strong self-awareness, authentic leadership, meaningful connections. As my dad would always write in my birthday cards growing up "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll fall among the stars." #CareerGrowth #Networking #Mentorship #AsianLeadership
“I am not everyone’s cup of tea, but I am some people’s favorite scotch 🥃." - David Angelo. Thank you to everyone who attended our C-Suite conversation today! We look forward to seeing you at future Asians In Advertising events. It was a pleasure hearing from Nikita Malhotra of Giant Spoon, David Angelo of David&Goliath, and Jenn Wong of MullenLowe U.S. West, as well as our amazing moderator, Tenny Pandika Gillis, and our hosts, Christina Lu and Leisha Bereson. Shoutout to the AIA team working behind the scenes, Meghna Kothari, Genie Lara, and Lawrence H..

Why are we rolling back on DEI when we should be rolling out? This is what will define the companies that succeed in a challenging 2024 operating landscape. We, like ALL of us in the space, have seen how budgets and teams are being slashed. 'DEI is not a one-time movement – done properly, DEI is a massive industry-wide transformation programme that delivers the progress that audiences and talent demand. 'As part of its commitment to move DEI high up the corporate agenda, Rise 2024 [our conference on April 24] will hear from brands and change-makers "to reinforce why it's imperative that we don't roll back at this critical juncture".' Don't roll over, get on a roll, we say. Ally Owen Lisa💫 Goodchild CC (Charlotte) Clark Jasmine Dawson Charmaine Glase In Campaign UK today:

The D&AD ’24 shortlist is out. Who wins a pencil will be publicly known tomorrow evening. Being a member for the Experiential jury this year was a huge honour to me. We spent two long days intensely debating and mercilessly interrogating the entered work in order to find stuff that will now become a benchmark for the global advertising industry for the entire year and possibly beyond. It’s a hell of a responsible task, but I’m certain that all of us in that room did well. We’ve all always heard that D&AD is the hardest award win. Now knowing it to be 100% true I would like to congratulate every single person involved in the making of the shortlisted work. Believe me, it wasn’t easy to get on that list. So, please celebrate already. Be proud. And don’t let anyone tell you that awards don’t mean anything because they do. Especially this one. Here is the shortlist: https://lnkd.in/dAXdDYcm #dandad #experiential #advertising

Not sure we could have said it any better: "One of the largest integrated marketing agencies in the Southwest, blending high-level issues management counsel with robust services across digital/social, branding/creative, media buying and analytics ... a hybrid agency that remains as comfortable producing paid content as it is in the earned media realm and combining the creativity of a hot consumer shop with the strategic savvy of a corporate communications firm." #PR #marketing #integrated #comms #media #social #analytics
We are so proud to share that LDWW was named a category finalist for PRovoke Media's 2024 North American Agency of the Year! This recognition would not be possible without our incredible clients.

The real reason industry recognition fuels our fire: Recently, we’ve been honoured with nominations for some major awards. Most recently, the EGR Global awards for Sports Affiliate of the Year, and SBC Latino America Sports Affiliate of The Year nominations. And while being recognised is great, there’s something more meaningful behind it. Here’s why these nominations matter: 🍀They honour every team member who’s poured their heart into our work 🍀They show that our bold ideas are making a real impact 🍀They boost our team’s morale, inspiring us to aim even higher Nominations aren’t the final destination They’re markers along the way. They remind us that we’re moving in the right direction, innovating, and thriving in a competitive industry. But the best part? I saw the excitement and pride in my team’s eyes, knowing their hard work was appreciated. So, here’s to all the nominees and those driving our industry forward. You’re all stars in my book. What does industry recognition mean to you?

Social Media Leader ✨ Arts, culture & the internet • Excellence in social-first creative • Building teams & growing talent 🌱
I can’t believe Destiny K. Chambers is giving all these 🔑s away for free. The brands cutting funding for #DEI must really panic when they see these missteps, if they aren’t the ones already doing the floundering. 🗣️ There’s no excuse for cultural ignorance when the resources are all around you. Destiny’s guide to success at ADWEEK: https://lnkd.in/e8qmhYZf 🔑 Diversity isn’t a trend; it’s the world we live in 🔑 Integrate mandatory “cultural sensitivity checks” into every stage of the creative process 🔑 Employee resource groups (ERGs) should be leveraged as integral participants in the creative process 🔑 Sometimes the most authentic thing you can do is be humble and sit down 🔑 Brands must align their creative endeavors with their core values 🔑 Don’t let your brand become synonymous with reactive damage control—shift your focus to prevention
