Celebrating Women's Advocacy for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion This #WomensHistoryMonth, we are proud to celebrate the many women who have fought over generations for equity, diversity, and inclusion. As a woman- and employee-owned company, we are intentionally building a culture of belonging and inclusion, and implementing a comprehensive DEI program. We are #PanagoraProud of our employee-ownership model and culture centered around DEI, which we bring into the work we do around the world to improve the livelihoods of women and families. We also worked with The National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and Employee Ownership Expansion Network to create the #NCEOXInclusivityFund. The fund will both support women- and minority-owned businesses to become ESOPs and support current ESOPs to build and deepen DEI practices through outreach, education, and direct support. As a woman running a business I'm drawn to female founded brands. When I'm creating gift boxes or collections for Mother's Day, International Women's day and days focussed around women I'm mindful that the products DEFINITELY should be from women owned brands. There are lots of reasons to support women owned brands including: Closing the Gender Gap - Women-owned businesses are often underfunded and face unique challenges, so your support can be crucial for their success. Investing in Communities - Women-owned businesses are more likely to reinvest profits back into their communities, supporting local jobs, charities, and initiatives. This creates a ripple effect, benefiting everyone involved. Building Role Models - Supporting women-owned businesses sends a powerful message to aspiring female entrepreneurs. If they can't see it they can't be it. Innovation and Creativity - Women entrepreneurs often bring a fresh perspective and unique approach to their businesses.
