When we were just starting AISPECO we discussed with a few North American and European companies what would make a real change to powerline lidar. Most answers were about one thing - if we could get rid of that inspection flight / if we could fly faster with high resolution obliques. Well, now we are delivering. Focus is designed as an inexpensive two axis gimbal specifically tailored for inspection still pictures. Its not as smooth as Trakka, but its good and precise enough to get 150mp Phase One with 150mm lens dead centered on powerline/railway/gas line asset. There is forward looking video camera with AI capability courtesy of eSmart Systems which helps if you dont know where assets are exactly, as this gimbal was made to be automatic, and allow you to collect 1-5mm GSD while maintaining your lidar flight speed. New Product Alert 📢 ! We're excited to introduce HELIUX FOCUS — an AI-powered gimbaled system for aerial data collection with top-tier EO and thermal sensors. The AI identifies fixed objects and calculates their coordinates, allowing the gimbal to precisely capture images of targets, even while in motion. Benefits: • Lowest cost gimbaled solution • Powerzoom lenses compatible • AI-powered control • Easy mounting on various aircraft • Filters correct data during flight Interested? Robot ships: Huge remote controlled vessels are setting sail. Large robotic vessels are rapidly going into service around the world It sounds like science fiction. Ocean-going ships with no-one on board. But this vision of the future is coming - and sooner than you might think. You can glimpse it in a Norwegian fjord where a huge, lime-green vessel is being put through its paces. At first glance, it seems like any other ship. Look closer, though, and you suddenly see all the hi-tech kit. Cameras, microphones, radars, GPS and all manner of satellite communications. https://lnkd.in/gcVx2ztd

I‘m so excited! Our new system for #mobilemachines was finally released! Thanks to all colleagues, who made this possible and put their effort in this project! It's time to make construction vehicles safer! https://lnkd.in/ecXFpmxU --- Safe Brake Assist --- Safe collision avoidance for mobile machines in outdoor applications. The ISO 13849-certified Safe Brake Assist safety system prevents collisions with people and infrastructure in outdoor areas. Using 3D LiDAR sensors that continuously measure the distance between the vehicle and potential obstacles along the vehicle’s path based on vehicle movement data. This ensures a safe and smooth operation even under demanding ambient conditions such as vapor, heat or rain. Thanks to the adaptive braking control feature, the system only applies the brakes in case of an imminent collision with people or the road infrastructure, e.g. guardrails. The result: Safe Brake Assist increases the safety and availability of construction machinery, saves costs, and relieves the driver. #outdoorautomation #roadrollers #construction #mobilemachines #collisionavoidance #safety
