In BI we trust. Following on from Andrew Rhodes’ #blog post last month about #operators being #fair and #open when dealing with withdrawals, we’ve come across another blog post on The Behavioural Insights Team website, giving details of them running deliberative forums this autumn to ask the public their views on what’s fair and open in #gambling. We like this format, certainly as the level of trust in how the #GC treats consultation answers is pretty low, this could be a much more corroborative approach to making improvements that all parties would benefit from. Given the #BI Team’s work in gambling is funded through monies from #regulatory settlements via the GC, we presume the findings and potential solutions will be taken seriously. https://lnkd.in/eersKYac #iGaming #GamblingIndustry #Behavioural #Insight #Compliance

Are you looking to enhance your knowledge and collaboration in combating financial crime? Cidestra part of Newground Alliance held a FCP evening on the subject. Let's work together to strengthen our collective response and inspire ongoing progress in safeguarding the integrity of the financial services industry. #FinancialCrimePrevention #KnowledgeSharing #Consultingdoneright
What a great FCP evening we had on Thursday 8th Feb! We extend our gratitude to the speakers and panelists: Erik Blommé, Jörgen Holmlund, Sara Persson, Åsa Michailidou Birgersdotter, Sanne Nilsson and Jakob Anderljung, who provided their expertise and insights into how to combat financial crime in the business segment. Many thanks also to the above 50 attendants from the financial services industry who participated in this winter edition in the series of Cidestra networking events focused on financial crime prevention. The evening was marked by insightful discussions showcasing the collective commitment to addressing this critical issue. Key takeaways from the discussions were: - Bad actors will always try to exploit vulnerabilities in society: we therefore need to collaborate more across industry actors and public entities to strengthen our common response - It is difficult to identify money laundering within companies - a more sophisticated approach must be taken to identify criminal elements - The development of legislation and methods for information sharing is crucial to collectively combat financial crime We hope that through this event, we have been able to foster deeper collaboration and knowledge sharing within the industry and provide inspiration to all attendants working with these issues daily. We look forward to further discussions on how we can combat financial crime collectively! #FinancialCrimePrevention #Financialcrime #AML #Cidestra
