Day 10 We're a third of the way through this 30 day challenge, and we started out week by learning about the first phase of the project life cycle, the project initiation phase. My post today is not about that. This morning, our CM sent us a link to a video by Vusi Thembekwayo, where he talks about Dealing with Self-Doubt. Before I watched that video, I had been dealing with self-doubt and telling myself that I did not have what it takes to be all the things that I want to be. I had lain sleepless at night, convinced that I would let my patients down, that something about me is lacking and that is why I haven't gotten any tangible internship offers from hospitals, and generally just feeling like a foreign thing. In the video, Vusi tells a story about a time that he dealt with self-doubt and what someone told him. He said that the trick to overcoming self-doubt is to focus on the things you can do and not the people that you're competing with. He also said that everybody is starting at zero, and to make sure that you are the most prepared. This lifted my spirits and spurred me to think about and focus on the things I can do. I have renewed energy and vigour to take on the tasks that I have and the renewed confidence to take up space in the world. #thepmtribe #thepmtribe30daychallenge

Celebrating the Small Wins (because they actually matter!) 🎉 As my internship continues, I've learned something pretty valuable: celebrating the small wins is waaay more important than I thought. Whether it’s checking off a task, having a productive chat with a stakeholder, or just making a bit of progress—these little moments really do add up. Sure, saying “thank you” and “good job” might sound basic, but trust me, it goes a looong way. It's easy to get caught up chasing the big goals and forget about the wins along the way, but pausing to give credit where it’s due (even to yourself!) can boost morale, confidence, and good vibes in the team. So here’s to celebrating the small stuff, learning as I go, and looking forward to what’s next. Bring on the next win! 🙌

Little drops of water💧make a mighty ocean🌊 That small-scale project you worked on with your friends at college; that 1-month internship you did eons ago; that short article you wrote for your friend’s start-up: they are all precious pieces of both your personal and professional journey. You acquired new skills, traded laughs and smiles, and learned to value yourself in ways you did not before. So, next time you embark on a seemingly meaningless sidequest, keep your head help up high. You can’t overcome that gargantuan mountain 🏔️without first learning to climb 🧗🤗 #experience #learning #growing

From studying with a pen and notebook to joining mentorship and internship programs—this is my journey so far. When they say 'start with what you have,' I truly lived it. I pursued my studies with just a pen, a notebook, and my cellphone because I knew what I wanted and was determined to achieve it. Progress isn’t about having everything; it’s about using what you have to take the first step. Today, I’m proud to say that I’m part of the Mind4Youth Marketing Internship for a month and the Asociación con Valores Mentorship Program for three months. At this point, it’s not about the money; it’s about learning, growing, and gaining valuable experience to build the foundation for my future. Every opportunity I take is a step closer to the bigger vision I have for myself. It’s a reminder that starting small doesn’t limit you—it prepares you for greatness #LearningAndGrowth #MarketingInternship #MentorshipJourney #ProfessionalDevelopment #StartWithWhatYouHave #Mind4Youth #ConvaloresMentorship #LifelongLearner #CareerProgression #Inspiration

How did I manage a high -commitment internship with exams? By grinding hard. How do I do SO MUCH? Because I want to. How do I do IT ALL? Because I like to. If you have the same answers to these questions, you'll know what I mean. Everyone has the same 24 hours. It's all about your priorities. Trust me if you can; I have never watched any time management videos. I don't understand a single time management technique. I have my to-do list, & that's all I need. I still have time left for fun and enjoyment. I still feel I can do more. Again, it's about priorities. #everydaylearning
