Whether from small artisanal distilleries or large global brands, each adds its own unique touch to this classic spirit. 2️⃣ It is centered on juniper-led flavors, distilled with a mix of botanicals like coriander, angelica root, and citrus peels. These carefully chosen ingredients create a pure, delicate, and harmonious taste, with juniper taking the lead, balanced beautifully by the other botanicals. 3️⃣ London Dry Gin, with no added sugar, offers a dry, crisp finish that highlights the pure botanical flavors. Ideal for classic cocktails or enjoyed neat for its complexity. London Dry gins are fantastic all-rounders, perfect for enjoying in various ways—from elaborate cocktail recipes to simply pouring it over ice and sipping slowly. How do you like your gin? GIN CAN BE SERVED NEAT! When it comes to drinking gin, the possibilities are endless. You've probably tried or seen it in popular serves like the Martini and Negroni. But can gin be enjoyed neat? 1 Gin is great for cocktails, but the right premium gin with balanced botanicals and a smooth finish can also be enjoyed neat. 2 Choose a high-quality gin with complex flavors like citrus, herbs, or floral notes for sipping neat. While London Dry Gin can be intense, a smooth gin like Plymouth or a softer botanical gin is ideal. 3 Serve it over ice or slightly chilled to soften the alcohol. Sip slowly to savor the layers of juniper, botanicals, and delicate spices. So, yes-gin can be enjoyed neat if it's of good quality! Try it with your favorite premium gin and experience a new way to savor this classic spirit.

The spirits market, dominated by a few large conglomerates, has often felt like a race to the bottom. While these giants have undoubtedly shaped consumer preferences, their focus on mass production and uniform flavor profiles has left a void for those seeking authentic, artisanal spirits. This aggressive commercial approach has led many in the hospitality industry, from bartenders to managers, to compromise their professional ethics. It’s time to remember that quality, sustainability, and unique stories are what truly define a great spirit The beauty of the spirits world lies in its diversity: the unique terroir of different regions, the passion of individual distillers, and the endless possibilities of flavor combinations. Smaller, independent producers offer a refreshing alternative, crafting spirits that are as much a reflection of their craft as they are of the ingredients they use. As consumers become more discerning, it's encouraging to see a growing appreciation for these smaller brands. By supporting these passionate artisans, we not only get to enjoy more complex and nuanced flavors but also help to preserve traditional distilling methods and protect the environment. While the road ahead may be challenging, I believe that the future of the spirits industry lies in the hands of these smaller, independent producers. Day 2: What Makes Gin, Gin? Title: The Soul of Gin: Juniper and Beyond Ever wondered what makes gin different from other spirits? The answer lies in juniper berries, which are the heart and soul of gin. Without juniper, it’s simply not gin. But juniper is just the beginning. Distillers add various botanicals like coriander, angelica root, orris root, and citrus peels to create unique flavor profiles. Some gins even use exotic ingredients like saffron, lavender, and seaweed! Types of Gin: 1️⃣ London Dry Gin: Known for its crisp, clean flavor. 2️⃣ Old Tom Gin: Slightly sweeter and perfect for classic cocktails. 3️⃣ New Western Gin: Focuses on creative botanical blends, often reducing juniper dominance. Fun Fact: No two gins taste alike, thanks to the endless combinations of botanicals. What’s the most unique botanical you’ve tried in a gin? 🌿 #GinLovers #BotanicalMagic #WhiteBulSpirits Navneet Singh

Aleatico is an authentic gem of Italian winemaking, capable of telling stories of land and tradition with every sip. This grape variety, believed to be a mutation of Moscato Nero, has found its ideal home in Tuscany, with the Island of Elba serving as its most renowned ambassador. #Vermouth: Something more than a drink 🍸 Today we would like to share a report from the gastronomic magazine Vinos y Restaurantes that portrays the great moment that the vermouth sector is experiencing and gives the example of PERUCCHI 1876. The article explains that this traditional drink "is more fashionable than ever", because "we are living a moment of renaissance in the appreciation of the artisanal and the authentic" and the data support it. According to the recent Nielsen IQ report on Market Trends in the Hospitality industry, vermouth consumption has increased by 9% in the last year in Spain. The data is especially relevant if we consider that in the same period, the demand in the general consumption of drinks outside the home fell by 1.4%, mainly due to the rise in prices in the on-trade. As the report states, this behaviour can be explained by the fact that "one of the consumption moments that benefited the most, during last year, was the aperitif" and 55% of Spaniards admit that they enjoy this moment on weekends, turning the vermouth into an almost sacred ritual that is shared with friends and family. Vermouth fever is also driven by the "psychology of premiumization" as consumers are now looking for authentic, high-quality experiences, which has led to a growing demand for exclusive, artisanal vermouths such as PERUCCHI 1876. At Magellan & Cheers, we celebrate the industry's momentum and continue to work to protect and develop iconic craft spirits brands as part of our shared heritage. #MagellanCheers #vermouth #spirits
