Reactors were operated at different hydraulic retention times (HRT) of 48, 24, 18, and10 hours while EG concentration was in the range of 10 mg/l to 1,150 mg/l. Throughout the experiments the ratio of EG Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) to total COD was changed from 0.0 to1.0. 🔥 Exploring innovative techniques in thermal energy storage such as integrating fins, modifying shell or tube geometries, adding nanoparticles, and incorporating metal foam has become essential for enhancing heat transfer performance. These approaches have shown great potential in improving energy efficiency and system effectiveness. ⚡🌱 One of the studies I had the privilege of contributing to 📚 focused on the impact of fin geometry on thermal performance. Titled "The effect of fin geometry on the thermal performance of a conical shell double tube latent storage unit", this research delves into both fin and geometric modifications to optimize heat transfer.
