We’re delighted to announce that Andelyn is expanding the AAV Curator™ Platform offering to include MyoAAV plasmids through a license agreement with the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. This new family of plasmids produce adeno-associated viruses (AAVs) that are ten times more efficient in reaching muscle tissue than wild-type vectors, while also de-targeting the liver.   The license agreement allows us to perform research and development services for our clients who are developing gene therapies to screen potential candidates and to perform scale-up and preclinical development work in preparation for IND-enabling studies. We are excited to work with the Broad Institute to enable the progression of life-altering gene therapies for rare and prevalent diseases.
