'Yellow' hydrogen indicates production by electrolysis with fossil-fuel-based grid electricity; however, other colors are also used for the same source, such as purple and orange. At the same time, yellow is also used to indicate production through water splitting using solar energy, another route that can be classified as green hydrogen. Therefore, the usage of yellow to denote production using fossil fuel-based grid electricity would be more distinctive. #greenenergy #greenhydrogen #hydrogen #energy #renewableenergy #renewable #sustainability #supergreenhydrogen #green #yellow

Imagine a world where energy is always available, regardless of when it's generated or consumed. As we push towards a #greenenergy future, one of the biggest challenges we face is ensuring that #renewableenergy can always meet our demands. Renewable sources like wind and solar are powerful but unpredictable, often producing energy when we need it least and falling short when demand peaks. This mismatch creates a pressing need for effective #energystorage solutions that can capture excess energy and release it when it’s needed most. By bridging this critical gap, energy storage systems hold the key to eliminating load shedding and providing a reliable, sustainable power supply. SVOLT is leading the charge in this energy revolution, offering advanced storage technologies that ensure green energy is available whenever it’s needed, no matter when it's generated. Explore how the innovative SVOLT solutions are powering a future where energy is both sustainable and dependable. #SVOLT #DrivenByInnovation #MissionZero

Future Energy Scenarios (FES) 2024 is out! With the latest FES 2024, National Grid ESO has introduced a new framework moving from reactive scenarios. The new framework and net zero pathways; 1. Replaces the four scenarios with three net zero ‘pathways’ - Holistic transition - Electric management - Hydrogen evolution 2. Includes a ‘Counterfactual’ which does not meet the 2050 net zero target 3. Retains Five Year Forecast (5YF) in data workbook These pathways all include a significant increase in renewable energy sources and electrification of heating and transport sectors. Negative emissions technologies are also seen as essential. Some of the key challenges identified include: developing CCS infrastructure, ensuring consumer buy-in for new technologies, and managing the transition of the gas network. #FutureEnergyScenarios #NationalGrisESO #UKEnergy #NetZero #NetZeroTransition #NetZero2050
