𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗽𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻: Nobody cares about your logo. People care only about themselves. They are the center of their own universe. Whether it's your personal brand, startup, or business, the only thing your logo needs to do is: ↳ Associate positively with your business ↳ Bridge your logo to your brand, product, and values 📌 Unless it's offensive, nobody cares about the design. Your logo needs to do one thing and one thing only: Identify your business. I know this sounds odd coming from someone who designs logos. But seriously, apart from your designer and yourself, nobody cares about your logo's look. It’s all about what it represents. Curious to hear your thoughts. Do you agree?
People will either love it, hate it, or be neutral about it, but only for a moment. Then, it's all about what your business or brand can do for them. Btw the "My Life in Weeks" poster in the bg. I'm curious how you're using that?
I agree that a logo is not that important at the beginning. What matters is a working product and happy customers. You can optimize your logo later. But don't ignore your logo completely. It must be printable and usable from the start. In general, professional logo design is art. It isn't easy. Big respect for logo designers.
Andreas M. Keck 🧊 People want to know what you stand for, not just what you look like.
Preach!! “Nobody cares about your logo”, that’s a hard pill to swallow as a brand designer. But it's true. Times have evolved. Back then, people mostly focused on the outer look, and awareness was at a more basic level. Now, people (even my clients now) are really looking at whether the designs truly represent their business and values.
