While walking through the lobby of the Batgirl Building* today, I quickly bought a pumpkin spice cinnamon roll. I honestly have no idea what pumpkin spice tastes like. (Everything tastes like chicken, right?) I guess I will find out this morning! * - Yes, I am slowly changing the name of the Batman Building.

Door etiquette. Every office door should come with an etiquette handbook. There are sometimes (like this moment), where I'd like to close the door... but I can't because people are out there talking. It would look rude, as if I was closing it because of them. In reality, I just want to eat this breakfast burrito without people seeing me make a mess. #firstworldproblems

This week, we're celebrating a birthday in the house. The one you'd better not forget. Yeah, it's her birthday.

Commuting and other long car trips otherwise have given me plenty of time to get through some audiobooks. I'm currently making progress through 10 to 25, a book that I probably should have read four years ago. My selections can seem a bit...scattered. Any suggestions on the next one? I will say that Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson provided very different experiences, both narrating their own books. Though Iron Maiden and Judas Priest will forever be paired together, these books were opposites. Rob sounded like an old friend just sitting down with a spot of tea. He'd no more than shift in his chair a bit during his conversations. Bruce would be jumping on the desk and to the chair, using his rolled up script like a sword swashbuckling about.

Some great advice as we head into the weekend.

I've always had a bit of fun with the Data Badger nickname. By the number of folks that came up to me at ILTACON and called me "the Data Badger" then looked down at my badge for my name, I could tell that some others have been having fun as well. I had a great conversation with Rian Kennedy about t-shirts and printing during the conference. It got me thinking about the things I didn't like about my little logo. Way too many colors made it expensive to print. Not really a circle, which makes everything custom shape. Kind of hard to read. Time for a change up! Let me know what you think.

I can't imagine not using the scheduler tool to post on LinkedIn. It simply takes up too much time to do it during the day. I don't want to spend my lunch break posting.
