We've been extremely busy over at Russell Roof Tiles launching not one but two brand new products in the last few months. ☀️ Just in time for summer our first solar offering, RussFast Solar, was introduced in May. We launched RussFast Underlay in July, our first underlay range. The collection features a high and low resistance product and enables us to strengthen our portfolio to better support the growing needs of our customers. A big well done to our product development and technical teams who have worked extremely hard to bring both products to market and ensure they meet strict quality guidelines. Just one great example of how we build strong, successful relationships 🤝 The Russell Roof Tiles team has provided services for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for a number of years now and it's great to see this support continue and grow. We recently secured a contract to provide tiles for a major redevelopment in the South, helping with the upgrading of 62 MoD homes in Fareham. Over the next year, our Double Roman tiles in Peat Brown will be used to help bring the housing up to scratch to service families as part of the MoD's continued commitment to providing quality, essential accommodation for UK military families. What a great way to continue a successful partnership - well done team! #Roofing #Housing

Last month, our team and a number of partners and customers participated in a Charity Golf Day at The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club in Cotgrave as part of our Give4Good initiative. Everyone involved had a fantastic time and we managed to raise £8,300 for our selected charities💰 Our Give4Good community programme builds on our many years of charitable commitments and we're very happy that our staff, suppliers and friends continue to support our hard work! Two years ago we announced our Net Zero 2040 targets and as we mark National Net Zero Week, I wanted to congratulate the whole Russell Roof Tiles team on their continued commitment to this issue. Sustainability is a challenging journey across our sector but we have taken positive steps to reduce our impact. As part of this commitment, we partnered with Planet Mark and pledged to to become a Net Zero company by 2040 – 10 years earlier than the Government agreed targets. We have made our first solid steps on these targets so far through a number of investments such as site upgrades and the launch of our first solar offering to the market earlier this year. In the first half of this year, Russell Roof Tiles have already hosted several fundraisers as part of our Give4Good initiative, which aims to raise money for charities local to Burton and Lochmaben💰 We kicked off the year with a weight loss challenge, and our very own 'Superstars' competition - a 10-month tournament featuring a series of sporting events involving 10 of our employees This was followed by three charity events organised by a team from Russell Roof Tiles, including my wife Coral Hayward, to raise money for the Footprints Family - a charity that provides support for young people in Kenya. Money was raised through a successful Comedy Night at the Pirelli Stadium, a fantastic bake sale, the creation of a recipe book and more. This led to Race Across Europe, our most ambitious fundraiser yet - inspired by the popular BBC TV show 'Race Across the World.' 4 teams traveled across Europe to five famous landmarks, guided only by clues with a limited budget to spend, raising an outstanding £14,000! Last but not least, our most recent event was our Charity Golf Day at the Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club in Cotgrave. It has been a fantastic start to the year and we have plenty more charity events planned, with the aim of raising £50,000 by the end of 2024. #Charity #Give4Good #Fundraiser

I am pleased with the efforts that we have made at Russell Roof Tiles as we continue to set new benchmarks for industry excellence in sustainability.🏆 We have made several major investments since last year, including a new fleet of electric forklift trucks and switching to a renewable energy contract. This has led to a 3.9% in carbon emission reductions in the last 12 months, exceeding our target of 2.5%. I want to thank everyone who helped us achieve these results. We will continue to work hard to reduce our impact across the business. #Sustainability #CarbonReduction
