I've been really into automation way before working at an automation company. (It's probably how I ended up here). The magic of using Zapier for the first time to automate posting between multiple social media accounts led to digging in more and more and more. Now I've learned to pull data from a database and make updates across websites, internal documents, etc. That's work that used to be done manually, and would take days do to. Now our team gets that information instantly and can focus on doing net-new work instead (like this podcast).
