🌟 Meet Aryana Barnes, my amazing Human Resources Intern this summer! 🌟
Aryana is a powerhouse of knowledge. Currently a Senior at Columbus State University, she's majoring in Finance and minoring in Human Resource Management. In just her first week, Aryana quickly realized that no matter how much we prepare, life in HR is full of surprises. Every day brings new, unexpected challenges.
Internships are incredibly valuable for both the intern and the organization. While I'm teaching Aryana how to navigate the unpredictable nature of HR with an unbiased perspective, she's also teaching me. Her fresh ideas and unique viewpoints are invigorating and often challenge our traditional ways of thinking.
When I asked Aryana about her observations on HR, she likened it to "Gentle Parenting." This was a revelation for me, as I had never thought about it in that way before. Her insight made me realize that my approach involves providing wisdom, offering constructive feedback, encouraging critical thinking, and guiding with understanding and empathy.
Internships give students like Aryana a chance to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills, and expand their professional networks. For organizations, having interns brings new energy and perspectives, leading to innovation and growth.
Please join me in welcoming Aryana to our team! 🚀 Let's celebrate the mutual growth and learning that internships facilitate for everyone involved. #HRIntern #ColumbusStateUniversity #Finance #HumanResourceManagement #Mentorship #LearningTogether #InternshipBenefits #Innovation #ProfessionalGrowth
