Vice President at Hoffmann Brothers HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical

Technician vs Field Professional We choose Field Professionals at Hoffmann Brothers because the term technician only captures a fraction of what our pros do. Field professionals need to be: 1. Technical Experts They have to be technicians with a thorough understanding of the equipment and how to diagnose problems and make repairs. 2. Psychologists Customers anxiety levels are often times high when our field professional, a stranger, shows up at their home. How much will this cost? Can I trust this person? Our field professionals need to put these customers at ease. 3. Salespeople At the end of the day, our field professionals are responsible for bringing in revenue to the business. The field pros who produce the best results spend the time and energy necessary to educate our customers. Being the technical expert used to be good enough to make a living in the trades. That’s not the case anymore. We need professionals like Justin here in the field. Does that distinction between technician and field professional make sense to you?
