It's Tuesday! And do you know what that means? 🎈 That's right! Tuesday is a great day to remind y'all that I'm hiring. Now's your chance - or the chance of that person you're thinking of right now - to not only come join the Belong adventure, but also report directly to me! I'll let you, dear reader, decide whether that's good or bad. 🤔 I'm hiring a Customer Escalations and Reputation Manager (https://lnkd.in/eW3j2Ju4) and a Corporate Paralegal (https://lnkd.in/e8a4wHPY). Don't want to report directly to me? How about joining Riley's team as a Senior Accountant (https://lnkd.in/eKDknbA9)? I would definitely do it, if I were an accountant. Or senior. 📒 Back in my school days, we had this concept of a Blast Tax: If you sent an email to the whole class, you had to include something nice in it, to make it worth everyone's time. And what's nicer than this photo of a puppy my better half is urging me to adopt? Enjoy your Tuesday, LinkedIn friends. And come join Belong. It's time to build! 🚀

I help law firms retain more clients with less effort | Legal software advice | Avid Mountain Biker 🚵🏽♀️
Here’s what you have to do as a solo or law firm owner to double your income in 2024: Double your billable hours. On average, most solo attorney law firms bill 1-1.2 hours/ day. That’s a mere 12% of their day working on revenue generating activities. If you’re like most solos, you’re the not only the CEO, but also the case manager, paralegal, receptionist, office manager, marketing director, billing coordinator, and sometimes even the accountant. We know you have the hustle and grind mentality, but if you want another comma on your W9, you need to learn to delegate the smaller tasks. I’ll drop some tips next week for ways you can start delegating tasks and have more time to double your income 📈

Hiring legal counsel as a business person is impossible. Expectation: You say, "Jump!" They respond, "How high?" Reality: You say, "Jump!" They respond, "You previously advised the company to jump at this important business juncture, and that jump cost us $100,000 in damages. I'd advise against jumping at this point unless we first have 10 calls with external legal which will run us $100k just for them to advise against it. Also there is a ton of legal precedent in the state of Nebraska, where we have nexus, which implies-" #TovaTalks #Business

Legal Professional | NCA Candidate | Experienced in Family Law, Paralegal Studies, and HR Management | Multilingual and Customer Service Expert
What it's like to be a "one-stop shop" legal assistant? Today, my mentor assigned me the task of starting an Application at 9:00 a.m. Now it's 4:20 p.m., and I’m just getting to it. Here's why: Responding to clients who needed updates. Coordinating calls. Filing documents with the court that were due before 2 p.m. Serving documents. Reviewing disclosures from three different sources and summarizing key points. Finally, I'm ready to dive into the Application. Balancing all the demands of this role teaches you how to prioritize, stay organized, and keep moving forward. Every day is a new challenge, but the sense of accomplishment makes it all worth it.
