There’s a reaction from some agents that we need to talk about… Some we chat with are almost combative. Demanding we explain exactly what we do and exactly why it’s better than another system (had this yesterday; I won’t name names). When this happens it’s so frustrating. Systems aren’t like an insurance policy. We shouldn’t comb the current policy and match it apples to apples. Myself and our team ask questions about your agency. We learn as much as possible about how you operate and in what platforms, for what functions. The conversation is designed to help improve your overall operations and ecosystem, not to improve one system or one function. It’s annoying and you aren’t cool for taking this approach. Changing platforms is one of the most challenging things you’ll do. Being coy or withholding only hurts you… How we built IRYS Insurtech on a modern chassis, using things like AI to improve operations, makes us different. To do new things, you need to have new conversations.
