Thanx Dan Langham , great Catching up :) Sonny Cutting , looking forward to catching up with you at your event in a few weeks :)
☀️ It was great catching up with Andy Kybett this morning, widely known as THE events guy. Now, Andy works across the country as a qualified first responder. To me, an all round nice guy! We discussed the shared challenges of growing a new business, navigating B2B positioning, and pricing strategies. Andy's insights gave me plenty to think about, and I feel fortunate to have such valuable advice as I build my own business, Design Shake. I'm looking forward to some exciting networking events with Andy and continuing to support each other’s journey. The road to growth is always better with a solid network! Events I'll be attending this month: Sussex Business Show | Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival | 26th of September Eastbourne UnLtd Chamber of Commerce | The View Hotel Eastbourne |18th of September. Looking forward to meeting you all! ✋

PCS07, PCS01 ,CS01, TM01 & AP01 – Filed and Accepted. Yesterday marked a significant milestone in my professional journey. I’ve officially handed over the reins for my last events company, and it feels incredibly relieving to embrace this newfound freedom. For the first time in a long while, I can finally breathe freely, unencumbered by the weight of responsibility that has been my constant companion. While some might think comments like “It’s about time!” or “Good riddance!” are warranted, I know I’ve made some significant errors, It’s as if a heavy fog has lifted; I can now breathe without feeling like I’m holding something back or grappling with unrelenting pressures. Two of my roles recently reached their conclusion—one at the end of May and the other just earlier this month. My final directorship with the last event company is also nearing its end, with merely a few final paperwork updates pending before everything is officially wrapped up. Although the company isn’t currently trading and hasn’t been for months, I am considering this chapter firmly closed—a decision that brings me peace. This time off has provided me with an opportunity to think on my past experiences and evaluate my skill set critically. It’s a chance not only to contemplate what I've accomplished but also to identify areas ripe for growth and exploration. I'm embracing this opportunity wholeheartedly as I delve back into the medical work I've recently fallen into; it’s an area that invigorates me deeply. Looking ahead fills me with anticipation. My commitment to current community projects remains unwavering; they represent meaningful ways for me to contribute and make a difference in people's lives while continuing to grow personally and professionally.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." I am often reminded by others that progress isn’t a straight line. There are ups, downs, and moments when things don’t go as planned. I lack patience at times, but I’m slowly learning that sometimes you have to change direction or even take a back seat. Success isn’t about avoiding failure—it’s about how we choose to move forward in spite of it. #Leadership #Resilience #Adaptability #Patience #GrowthMindset #lackofpatience

This overcast Monday got me thinking about something I often hear: 'With good food, it’s impossible to lose weight.' As someone who loves food, I used to believe that! But back in January, after a fair bit of procrastination, my friend Jason introduced me to James Shrubb, a Herbalife and health consultant. Since then, with James’s guidance, I’ve lost over 3 stone and, more importantly, learned how to make healthier food choices without sacrificing the joy of eating. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m so thankful for the support that’s kept me on track.~ Good food can absolutely be healthy, even if I’m not the most adventurous chef! I’ve attached some photos of meals I love to make. A massive thank you to James Shrubb, Jason Langley CNHC registered, and all the friends who’ve helped me stay on this path – here’s to the journey continuing! #HealthyLiving #WeightLossJourney #Herbalife #GoodFood #LifestyleChoices #HealthyEating #FitnessJourney #WellnessSupport #Transformation #StayOnTrack

Taking a quick break to catch up on social media after a long but rewarding day! Up at the crack of dawn to be part of the onsite medical team at a wellbeing & mindfulness event in Ealing, London. It wasn’t the busiest of shows, but it was filled with incredible people, tasty food, and some top-notch cacao! The energy was so positive, and it felt good to be part of something meaningful. Now it’s all about the train shuffle home, dodging the crowds, and finding a seat to settle in. Roxette is playing on repeat, setting the perfect vibe to wind down and reflect on the day. Can’t wait to finally kick back! 😌 #LongDay #MedicalTeam #WellbeingEvent #Mindfulness #EalingLondon #GreatVibes #PositiveEnergy #DeliciousFood #CacaoLove #EventLife #TrainJourney #EveningVibes #RoxetteOnRepeat #UnwindTime #BritishLifestyle #CrowdDodging #ReflectAndRelax #FeelingGrateful #SelfCareJourney

I've Just finished reading *Atomic Habits* by James Clear, a compelling exploration of how small changes can lead to significant improvements in our lives. The message hit close to home for me. Over the past six months, I’ve made significant strides in trying to achieve work-life balance, but I’ll admit, I’m still very much a work in progress. Throwing an entire toolbox at my career this year—and confronting my own demons—has been both a blessing and a challenge. I’ve taken on more than ever, which hasn’t exactly made things easy. One quote from the book particularly resonated with me: 'You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.' Thankfully, I’m fortunate to have a strong family unit and an exceptionally understanding wife who has been my anchor through it all. Despite the chaos, they help keep me grounded, reminding me of what truly matters. Balancing career growth with personal well-being feels like walking a tightrope, but I’m learning that it’s okay to lose balance as long as you keep moving forward. #WorkLifeBalance #PersonalGrowth #CareerDevelopment #FamilySupport #BookRecommendation #LifeLessons #ContinuousImprovement"
